EvAnn Hawley Teachers

EvAnn Hawley gives accordion lessons to students of all ages and skill levels in her home in Camp Hill, PA. She believes that playing music should be fun and that each person can be taught music no matter how old or how young they are. She also believes that each student is an individual with unique needs and motivations. Believing that students learn best in a positive learning environment, she uses only positive reinforcement and positive learning strategies.

In 1978, EvAnn was awarded first prize in the prestigious International Accordion Grand Prix. From 1978-1984, she was the featured accordion soloist with Fred Waring & The Pennsylvanians, playing venues such as Carnegie Hall, Heinz Hall, The Kennedy Center, and the Crystal Cathedral. Since 1981, EvAnn has been working as a professional musician in Central Pennsylvania. She is a Pennsylvania certified music teacher and has been teaching private accordion and piano students of all ages and abilities since 1984. In 2008, she graduated summa cum laude from Lebanon Valley College with a degree in Music Education.
