Monarch Accordions was founded in 1946 in Denver, CO, with a dedication to making an Accordion without compromise. In 1976 ownership was transferred to professional accordionist, Mike Aman and he has held that same dedication to the strive for perfection that Monarch started out with. Mr. Aman makes regular trips to Monarch’s factory in Italy to stay on top of the changing needs of the American accordion market.

Monarch is a family owned and operated business that has thrived by selling only the finest accordions, providing the best warranty and service in the industry, and always at prices well below the competition. Monarch Accordions is closely associated with Young Musicians of America, a non-profit music school based in Denver and Colorado Springs, specializing in accordion instruction. Inspiring aspiring musicians to achieve new heights. Mr. Aman’s virtuoso accordion orchestras have won first place at every major competition including American Accordionists’ Association, Accordion Teachers’ Guild, Accordion Federation North America, and Rocky Mountain Accordion Society. In 1984 he produced a national solo champion.
